Web-based Tools

ASTER gain calculator

An on-line tool to calculate ASTER gain settings appropriate for snowy targets as a function of day-of-year, latitude, and ASTER band number.

This is no longer needed, as GLIMS ASTER gains have been input into the ASTER system by the GLIMS Core Team, likely for the last time.

GLIMS glacier ID generation tool

An on-line tool to generate GLIMS glacier IDs from a list of longitude/latitude coordinates.

This is no longer needed, as GLIMS glacier IDs are assigned by NSIDC at ingest time.
